Aerial Reconnaissance Patrol

The Aerial Reconnaissance Patrol (ARP) is a three-person military unit in common usage throughout the armed forces of Eden. Based on the Bekiskapan Triad, each ARP flew in a triangular formation and each member of an ARP was trained on how to fly each of the three positions.

Owing to accords arranged by the Council of Five and signed by all Edenian nations, aerial units were prohibited from engaging in battle without visual confirmation that the opposition possessed aerial units as well. That said, ARP units always flew armed for combat. You never knew whether a technologically inferior civilization might pull a rabbit out of their hat, so to speak.

Composition

Each ARP formation consisted of precisely three units, no more and no less. These might be three Dwarvish Hämnares, three dragons, three P-51 Mustangs, or any combination of these or other airborne vehicles or creatures.
