The House in Hawaii
In September 2001, Michael and Jenna Silver moved to the state of Hawaii (where they had honeymooned earlier that year). By the summer of 2002, they were living in a house on the island of Oahu described as having a lanai that was “all wicker and white linen,” was open on three sides, and had Polynesian artifacts decorating the shelves on the one solid wall. Two of the three sides of the lanai face the ocean, with a third obscured (at least a bit) by trees.
The trees and hill must go around the side and head toward the main road, because Tracy Silver sneaks around this side of the house to see what she sees in Missing Mr. Wingfield.
