The Court of the Chalice
The Court of the Chalice is the primary institution for law enforcement and judicial authority in Morvathia. It takes its name from the unusual and colourful nature of the judgement - a chalice filled with harmless wine or poison.
Bloodrot
Bloodrot is a feared affliction that targets those with demonblood, leading to a slow decay of blood vessels and organs. Initial symptoms like pallor and dizziness progress to heartache, nausea, and bleeding.
Wickroot
Wickroot is a unique type of tree found in the Wickroot Forest, renowned for its resilience to witch magic, making it ideal for crafting magical items like wands and talismans.
Widowbirds
A Widowbird is an elite arcane investigator, working under the Court of the Chalice. Specializing in solving magical crimes, these inspectors are known for their deep expertise in the occult and mystical arts.
Broom Galleons
Broom Galleons are flying vessels, used in every larger cities of Morvathia. Accommodating only 5-6 passengers in their relatively compact frame, they are both a symbol of luxury and a feat of magical engineering.
Bow to the Harvest
The 'Bow to the Harvest' is a two-day festival in Morvathia on the 27th of Wyndvahl and the 1st of Arnōt, celebrating the bounty of the land and the cycles of life.
