The Lisa Dracus Memeorial theater

Alucard

Alucard watched the performance from his private box, he paid attention to the stage which had two women on stage playing the part of Elphaba and Glendia in a smaller scale performance of the Broadway musical Wicked”. Alucard paid close attention to the young woman playing the part of Elphaba, for good reason it was his adopted daughter wearing a dark wig and green make up and the reason he had paid for this    expensive production in the first place out of pocket. He took a moment to pull his pocket watch out of his suit vest only to hear a thick eastern European accented voice say “dear you better pay attention; the big song is going to come up” He looked up and saw the blue eyes of his lovely husband and said, “of course dear” Stefan was a beautiful sight to behold, he was a man but had such feminine figure and face he could easily pass for a woman, and as far as most people was concerned, he was a woman” He then looked to his side to see a white-haired boy sitting in his seat kicking back in boredom. He kid whined in his cockney British accent “This is boring, I wanna go home mum” Stefan chuckled and said, “don't worry Charlie your sister is about to sing “Defying Gravity”, that is a real showstopper” Alucard replied “yes son pay attention I did not pay to use the rights only to miss Jessica sing the biggest song of the show.

Alucard smiled, he was living the American dream, he had a supporting spouse, enough money to do anything he wanted and to fund his spouse’s and his daughter's vanity projects. He picked at his mustache, there was just one thing he was missing. The duet between Jessica and Karly started with the two singing, hearing his daughter do the part made him smile all those expensive singing lessons had paid off. He looked down from the balcony to see a man sitting in the front row, he was extremely pale, he looked in his mid to late 30’s with a military style haircut and long sideburns on both sides connecting with a mustache an incredibly old style of facial hair that Alucard had not seen in a long time. Stefan looked at his husband “are you ok dear?” Alucard looked away from the man and said “yeah, I'm fine”. The song ended as Jessica pulled Karly who was playing Glendia into a very public kiss that was not part of the musical as the song ended. Alucard and Stefan looked a little shocked as Charlie said, “oh Jessica is fuckin carpet muncher” Stefan gently slapped his sons head saying, “I do not tolerate that king of langue young man” The young man sank back into his seat and said “yes mum”. The curtains quikly closed as intermision occoured. Stefan looked suprised as Alucard stewed for a moment; his own adopted daughter had just outed herself Infront of 300 people, there would be damage control on this one.

As the play went into Intermission, It was then that Alucard felt someone behind him and turned around to see the man he saw earlier was standing in the entrance to the private box. Stefan smiled seeing the man standing up greeting him while Alcuard stayed seated “hello Thad nice to see you again" the man smiled back and kissed the delicate hand saying “yes, my lady, it is nice to see you again, we should catch up some time, but right now I need to speak with your husband in private” Getting the hint Stefan said to Charles “um son we should get air” Charlie rolled his eyes, but took his mom’s hand as the two went out of the box as Thad sat down next to Alucard. Alucard finally turned to the man saying, “Hello Thaddeus, what errand does the council send the arbiter to do this time?” Thad smiled saying “you know last time I was in a theater booth with a powerful man some idiot came and shot him” Alucard furrowed his brow and spoke “is that a threat?” Thad shrugged and said “just an observation, but I will get right to the point, the council is worried about the longevity of your family line” Alucard grunted again and said “what of it, my bloodline is far from in danger” Thad said “sorry to inform you but your sister miscarried again, for the third time, it looks like her body just doesn’t want to give birth” Alucard looked forlorn “well that is sad for Alexia, but what does this have to do with me?” Thad replied “it means, you need a replacement before you die and right now it doesn’t look good” he continued “you don’t have any biological children and as of your adopted children, Jessica has her own family line to carry on and I doubt the council will want your beloved little Peter Pan to be in charge, and unless your husband suddenly develops a womb. That’s not going to change” Alucard was notably perturbed by that sentence saying in restrained anger “I have been married to Stefan for more than 100 years, are you suggesting I betray him and marry some rich air head?” Thad sighed “that's not what I'm saying at all, I'm just saying figure it out or the council will do it for you” Thad then got up and said “pity your daughter's girlfriend” Alucard turned with a questioning look. Thad replied, “the one playing Glendia that your daughter just outed live on stage, her father is a banker and a donor to conservative politicians, probably be disowned in a week” He then started to leave the box “humans can be so cruel to what they don’t understand I should know I used to be one”
