Update. January 6, 2021. Entries for The Anvilite Community Awards are now closed. I’ll be reviewing entries in the coming weeks, with an eye towards announcing the winners during the WorldEmber Celebration Stream at the end of January.
E. Christopher Clark and his Clarkwoods Literary Universe are proud to sponsor the Most Involved Character award as part of the 2020 Anvilite Community Awards.
We want your most interconnected character article from 2020, a character that’s so involved with the setting they reside in that there are links to other articles in your world peppered throughout the piece.
Basically, we want an article that’s going to cause us to get lost in your world for hours and hours.
What You Can Win
The prize will be a custom illustration by Chris and a copy of Jeff VanderMeer’s excellent Wonderbook: The Illustrated Guide to Creating Imaginative Fiction (or a $20 gift card to the bookstore of your choice).
How to Enter
- Search through the articles you’ve written in 2020, or write a new article.
- Share a link to the article in the comments below.
- Stay tuned for an announcement in January 2021 on the winner!
