Todd
The Totally Odiferous Defense Dude, popularly known as Todd, is one of the so-called Filters. He is tasked by the sister goddesses with patrolling the borders of Eden, in particular The Gate, and he does so with a fierce dedication to the cause. Between the variety of flaming swords he wields and the overwhelming force of his repellent personality, Todd is a nigh-unbeatable adversary for evil-doers everywhere.
And an obtuse, obnoxious, and irritating obstacle for everyday Edenians just going about their day-to-day lives.
Because of his omnipresence throughout Eden, some folks have taken to call him the God of Annoyance. In reality, Todd’s ability to be in multiple places at once all comes down to the fact that he's actually an android. Hundreds of networked copies of him roam this post-apocalyptice paradise at all times, tasked with patrolling areas that are unguarded by the other, more static Filters.
Supernatural Abilities
Todd possesses superhuman strength, speed, agility, and endurance, as well as potestas absurdum—the power absurd. The more ridiculous a situation becomes, the more powerful Todd gets.
That said, the lifespan of each Todd copy is limited by its supply of gustoplasm—a finite resource which is drained both by the use of Todd’s abilities and Todd’s overall mood. A bad hair day is just as likely to shorten the life of a Todd as knock-down drag-out brawl.
Fortunately for Todd, the goddess Phina has placed hidden Todd-creation factories throughout Eden. This has led to the common utterance, often accompanied with an ugh of resignation, that “If you cut down one Todd, two more shall take his place.”
Weaknesses
Todd’s oversized forehead and chin are his Achilles’ heels, so to speak. Hit him with a direct blow in either area and there is a good chance you’ll knock him out.
Todd is also overfond of calling other folks, regardless of his familiarity with them, “bro” or ”kid.” Folks who take issue with this, even if they’re just pretending, are able to drain Todd’s gustoplasm at an increased rate.
And Todd falls for it every time.
Ugh. He sounds insufferable. Great article, though :)

Yes! If there were a comic book about him, the title would be "The Insufferable Todd" (like "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Uncanny X-men" and so on).
