Covenant

Covenant is the capital city of the Wonderlandian province of Promiseland. One might mistake it for a quaint village in the English countryside, if not for the two massive castles you’ll find here—one of which is the legendary Camelot.

Geography

The city is located at the northeastern corner of the Forest of Fangs and on the western banks of the Bü‘ükopo Oadü. The Isle of Geoff, upon which Camelot was built, is also within the city limits.

Architecture

The architecture of the village is a study in English vernacular, a collection of cozy homes built of stone, brick, and timber—or whatever else the builders could find and carry from the surrounding environs. The two castles are, well, castles. There are surely architectural terms to describe them, fancy words which could make the author sound all fancy and stuff, but he’s not sure which words those are and he’d probably find himself overexplaining them anyway for a general audience, so let’s just not.

Camelot is bigger than Uther’s Keep. That’s how you can tell the difference. Also, Camelot’s the one on the island in the middle of the river.

Notable Landmarks

The aforementioned castles of Camelot and Uther’s Keep are the largest of the town’s landmarks, but they are by no means its most popular tourist destination. That distinction goes to The Bonnie Bubbler, which is famed for the “magical” side-effects of its cosmopolitan cuisine.
