Gideon’s Bible

Gideon’s Bible was an alternative rock band formed in Chelmsford, Massachusetts in 1995 by David Johnson (bass), Robin Gates (guitar), Billy Mills (drums), and Michael Silver (vocals). A later incarnation featured the same personnel, minus Johnson. In that incarnation, Silver took on bass duties.

Though Gates would gain worldwide acclaim with her later group, Robin and the Redheads, her most famous compositions were first released on Gideon’s Bible’s three-song demo tape (released in the autumn of 1995) and on the 1997 seven-inch.
